VANCOUVER, Canada, Sept. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived here Friday afternoon from New York after attending the United Nations summit on the 60th anniversary of establishment of the world body, continuing his state visit to Canada.

Hu met with Premier of British Columbia Gordon Campbell right after his arrival here, and they exchanged views on furthering cooperation between China and the British Columbia Province of Canada.
